Horche and its surroundings
Horche is located very close of Guadalajara, the capital of the province. There is only 10 minutes by car, and 45 minutes from Madrid. This one of the main reasons why Horche is usually chosen by our guests as their favourite place to spend either a weekend or holidays.
Furthermore, our little village offers the opportunity of discovering wonderful routes on the surroundings. such us the footpath to the hermitage of “El Picuzo” or the footpath “¿Qué es La Alcarria?”. Both are perfectly signed posted from the starting point in Horche.
The region of La Alcarria is one of the most famous regions in Spain. Its territory covers more than a half of the province of Guadalajara as well as part of Cuenca and the Southeast of Madrid.
